How to login from remote PC:

1. Go to www.slingmedia.com

2. Download player. Includes both PC and MAC software

3. Click "Slingbox" then select "Slinging Box Directory"

4. Click "Add"

5. Enter the following:

How to add to FAVORITES

Click "+" and after the following display appears and you add a "name" and "number", click "Add"

Notes:

1. Only one PC at a time can view cable TV

2. Administrator (Dr. Kirkpatrick) has priority over guest viewer.

3. A guest viewer can always watch the Administrator change channels on their TV.

4. A viewer can charge pay-per-view programing without the Administrator's permission.

 

Who has priority in controlling the Slingbox?

1. Dr. Kirkpatrick has control of the Slingbox because he is able to login as the "Administrator". All other person only have a "viewer" password to login.

2. The "Administrator" can kick a viewer off the Slingbox.

3. If viewer #1 is on the slingbox, viewer #2 cannot not login (unless they have an Administrator password).
